Quick Answer
Abrams is a frontline when he creates space that his team can actually use. Move into positions that block danger, threaten enemies who step too far forward, and retreat before you become isolated. A good frontline turn is measured by what allies can do behind you, not by how long you remain alone in enemy space.
When This Works
Use this around objective entrances, lane pressure, and teamfights where your allies need room to deal damage. It works best when you communicate which area you are holding and keep an exit toward your team. Start with the Abrams profile.
When Not to Use
Do not charge far beyond allies who cannot follow. Do not absorb damage only to prove durability when the team has no angle to use the space you made.
Steps
- Identify the space your team needs to hold or cross.
- Move into it with cover and an ally’s line of sight.
- Threaten the nearest overextended enemy rather than chasing the backline alone.
- Back out when the enemy can surround you or allies cannot follow.
Frontline Table
| Situation | Abrams action | Team value |
|---|---|---|
| Team needs to enter an objective | Take the first safe space | Gives allies a route and sightline |
| Enemy steps too far forward | Pressure the closest target | Creates a focused fight |
| Allies are not nearby | Hold or retreat | Avoids an isolated death |
| Team wins the exchange | Stand between allies and danger | Converts the win safely |
Use maps to understand objective approaches.
Common Mistakes
- Diving past allies for a distant target.
- Starting a fight when no one can follow.
- Forgetting the exit route after taking space.
- Treating damage taken as value when it achieves nothing.
