The Importance of Team Coordination
In 6v6 Deadlock, good coordination is often more important than individual aim. Here are communication and focus-fire tips that work even in solo queue.
Why 6v6 Rewards Coordination More
Deadlock teamfights are larger than in traditional FPS games, and one player can rarely handle six enemies' worth of damage and abilities. Effective coordination makes 1+1 much greater than 2.
For example, Dynamo's Singularity pulls enemies together, and Seven's Storm Cloud follows up for massive AoE damage. Such combos are nearly impossible without communication.
Solo Queue Communication Template
You don't need complex shot-calling. Three pieces of information are enough: enemy position, ability cooldowns, and target selection. For example: "Haze flanking, Sleep Dagger down, focus Vindicta."
Pings and minimap markers also matter. Marking flanks or Soul Urn spawns can save a teamfight.
Focus Fire and Peel
Don't fight separately. Supports and tanks should protect carries, while carries should prioritize the biggest enemy threat.
Peel is equally important: when your core is dove, McGinnis turrets, Kelvin's Iceberg, and Dynamo's knockup can all break enemy combos.
