Abrams Tank Build and Frontline Positioning Guide
Abrams is one of the most beginner-friendly tanks in Deadlock. This guide explains his abilities, recommended build, and how to hold the frontline in teamfights.
Ability Core Ideas
Abrams' 1, Siphon Life, is an aura that drains health from nearby enemies in teamfights. 2, Shoulder Charge, is a dash that stuns enemies against walls. 3 is passive regeneration, and his ultimate Seismic Impact knocks up a large area.
His playstyle is straightforward: engage, absorb damage, disrupt enemy formation, and create space for your team.
Recommended Build
Starting items: tier-1 Vitality (health/regen) plus tier-1 Weapon (ammo/damage) for lane sustain.
Core items: keep stacking Vitality, prioritizing health, armor, and regen. In the late game add one or two Spirit CC-reduction items so you don't get chain-stunned by Haze or Seven.
Boots should give movement speed to help Shoulder Charge connect onto the enemy backline.
Teamfight Positioning
As the frontline, your job is to stand in mid lane or in front of the enemy Walker, blocking enemy damage from reaching your backline.
Don't charge in blindly; watch your carries' position. If your team can't follow, Shoulder Chargeing in alone is just feeding. The ideal tempo is to pressure with your body first, then engage once your support is ready.
